Artist Designer Statement

    Jane Marino is from Long Island, NY and currently a senior at University of Tampa. She has completed a BA in Art Therapy and in progress of finishing a BFA in Graphic Design. While her art is rooted in her hands on abilities, she identifies as a graphic designer and enjoys using various art mediums within her digital work. Jane enjoys using her own art in her work as well as the exploration of photography in her processes. She’s motivated by her passion for animals, the environment, helping others, as well creating work that is aesthetically pleasing through use of color, typography, and photography. Jane is able to adapt to a variety of methods and open to exploring various mediums and techniques as she develops her own style. Majority of her work can be described as colorful, ironic, and witty. She aims to evoke her viewers and bring them a positive experience through her work.
